Monel Alloy Sheets: Material, Size and Packing Verification
The sheets were confirmed to match the ordered specification in material, size and quantity, with the single minor defect logged and photographed. The client received a complete visual and measurement record before release, confirming the goods were ready to ship.
Project background
A client ordered Monel 400 alloy sheets in two specifications and asked us to verify the goods before shipment — checking quantity, dimensions, weight and packing against the order.
Alloy sheets are value-dense and specification-critical, so even a small size or grade deviation matters, and the client wanted independent confirmation of the physical goods.
What we did
We carried out an on-site inspection covering:
- Quantity and size measurement against the ordered dimensions;
- Weight verification of the sheets;
- Surface and packing review, including defect recording;
- Photographic documentation of the factory, warehouse and goods.
The inspection recorded one minor surface scratch mark on one sheet. All measurements and findings were documented photographically, and the workshop and sampling were also recorded on video.
Outcome & value
The sheets were confirmed to match the ordered specification in material, size and quantity, with the single minor defect logged and photographed. The client received a complete visual and measurement record before release, confirming the goods were ready to ship.
